Photographic series commenting on the failings of residential care system in the UK. It is a system where carers are invariably overworked, under-trained and under-paid. The overwhelming majority of people receiving residential care in the UK are the elderly who have increasing levels of fragility and dependence. This set of images aims to show the irony that at a point in our life when we are most in need of care, the system fails to provide this at a high enough standard.
